Despite being the body's largest organ, many people neglect to take good care of their skin. Now that the dry months of winter are over, prepare your skin for some summer exposure by implementing a daily moisturizing routine. "Frequency of application is the most important thing," says David Sawcer, M.D., Ph.D., assistant professor of dermatology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. "When skin is dry, it will drink up the moisturizer, so reapply as often as you can." Sawcer suggests trying a few different moisturizers to find one that you like. He notes that while greasier creams tend to work better on very dry skin, the creamier versions are much easier for daytime use.
